Balloon Tree Wood (summer)

This small piece of woodland lies on the ‘Way of the Roses’ the coast-to-coast cycle route that passes through Stamford Bridge. The path and woodland are looked after by a volunteer group known as York Greenway Champions. The group wants to continue to improve access to the wood as well as promoting wildlife and biodiversity and would welcome help from Stamford Bridge residents.
